Today is my first lesson for bellydance. It was really fun and great to learn. From the teacher, she said that bellydance is good for woman. It is good for inner stomach muscle and even for the organ inside which is rather important for woman.[extracted from net "Belly dancing is natural to a woman's bone and muscle structure with movements emanating from the torso rather than in the legs and feet."] As it was just the first lesson so we only learn the basic of bellydance -shimmy, figure8 and more. But teacher mention that after this 8 lessons, we will know how to dance one whole song. I am gonna join the intermediate class after the beginner one.
Hip pain....I did too much hip movement practise at home already.
Yay!!! my teacher is selling the hip scarve so will be getting the black one (was pretty). update the photo of it when i get it.
Can't wait for next saturday lesson already!!
